Automotive packaging requires a balance of rigidity and delicateness. Our foam products securely protect products for transit.
Packaging plays a critical role in ensuring that parts arrive in perfect condition: whether you're shipping fragile sensors, painted body panels, or heavy components. At Foam Industries, we design custom packaging solutions that deliver protection, efficiency, and reliability across the entire supply chain: no matter the part. We offer customized packaging for short run or longer run part production, and design inserts that fit seamlessly into your existing totes.
Our custom foam solutions are engineered to prevent scratches, dents, and abrasions during shipping and handling: all without compromising performance.
Automotive electronics —such as sensors, circuit boards, and control modules —require specialized protection. Our anti-static foam inserts, trays, and dividers prevent damage during transit. Our solutions hold components securely in place so they arrive assembly-ready.
Engines, hoods, and other large parts demand packaging that can handle significant weight without compromising safety. Our rigid yet lightweight foam systems stabilize heavy parts, absorb impact, and reduce shifting inside containers. This ensures even the heaviest components are delivered intact and without damage.
Efficiency matters. Our returnable and reusable foam packaging helps you get the maximum number of parts to their destination without damage. By optimizing your packaging, you lower overall shipping costs and keep production lines running smoothly. Custom kitting and tote inserts also streamline packing and unpacking, saving time and labor on every order.
This popular powersports manufacturer needed a better solution for shipping parts to various locations. Plastic panels were molded 420 miles away from the painting location, so they needed to be transported. However, the current solution was to wrap each piece in film and then package one by one in a box. This added unnecessary additional time and material waste, as well as a headache on arrival. Foam Industries created a solution to ship more parts in the same package. We were able to manufacture packaging for the parts to nest together. Once the molder pulled the panel out, they were able to put it directly into the packaging. We are able to use Class A Surface compatible foams so there is no need for additional films or protection. The end result: a closed loop system that did not require any additional packaging. There were now a fixed number of parts in each container, so there didn’t need to be any additional labeling or counting once the parts were packaged.
Optimize your packaging with a custom solution that makes sure your products get from A to B damage-free - no matter what happens during transit.
