Sub Parts That Aren’t in Stock

Picture this: you’re a fixture manufacturer and you use a specific plastic hook in your displays to hang signs. You order 10k at a time from your current supplier. One day, your supplier stops making them because they weren’t making them enough profit. What do you do?

This was a scenario one of our clients found themselves in. Their procurement agent asked us if we knew another OEM that makes something similar. We said yes - Foam Industries. Our design team was able to replicate the size and shape of the hooks and manufacture them at the same time we manufactured their existing packaging solution. 

Their supplier’s loss was everyone’s mutual gain. By grouping this new design with their other existing services, Foam Industries is able to maximize production times to reduce timelines.

Recycle Materials for Cutting Surfaces

The packaging process can produce a lot of excess from cutting. That’s why we created Hydro-Bricks to repurpose unused materials. We also offer them for sale! 

Hydro-Bricks are made with polypropylene plastic and bound together with dipped nails to ensure the tightest bond. They can be used for a variety of applications - but we’ve found great success in using them as a level cutting surface for 5-axis waterjet cutting. If you're looking to cut smaller or more detailed parts, Hydro-Bricks are the answer. The tight cell structure reduces splash back and part chatter, and the smooth surface helps to prevent nickeling.
