The main data on any spec sheet will be the test properties along with minimums and maximums. This will yield any vital information you’ll need to consider when choosing a foam and designing, such as:
This section will also include any additional tests done to the material, such as fire resistance and flammability. These are most often noted by the name of the test with a Pass/Fail - for example, UL94HF-1/Pass. You can reference the test maker for specifications - in that example, UL is the test maker and 94HF-1 refers to specific flammability tests applied horizontally and vertically to the material.

The next piece of information to look out for on a spec sheet are any industry-specific grades and tests. In this example above, the specification MIL-PRF-26514G indicates that this specific foam meets Military spec requirements.
