What is Astro-Foam® Polyethylene Sheet Foam?
Pregis Astro-Foam® is a polyethylene foam with 1m barrier, sliced into thin sheets. This makes it perfect for wrapping and stuffing. This tear-resistant foam protects your sensitive items - no matter how heavy or sharp.

Astro-Foam® is not only a replacement for Microfoam® - it’s arguably the better option due to its versatility. Choose a sheet if you’re looking for a direct 1:1 replacement, or choose the pouch/bag option for additional possibilities.
It’s also available in a few different variations that are ideal for specific applications:
- Anti-static foam is perfect for protecting electronics.
- Adhesive foam sticks to your product, which eliminates the need for tape or glue.
- Cohesive foam is coated with a laminate that makes it stick to itself, but not your product.
- Script-reinforced laminated foam offers an additional level of surface protection and cushioning for extremely heavy products with sharp edges.
